(N]-n.m-[M)where.things.start.and.where.things.last 4月10日 cd.r: t.i.this week's artist is: t.i.; album: king. comments: t.i.'s third lp is set to be bigger and better for the gangsta rap genre. with collabos with producers such as swizz beatz and just blaze, most of the tracks are bass-heavy, club-bangin', and more anthemic. although a lot of songs are made with heavy bass lines, those tensions are relieved with songs such as 'live in the sky' (ft. jamie foxx) and 'why you wanna', where he rhymes about acknowledging people who have 'lost somebody', and about girls and their 'fat ass'. collabos with other respectable artists such as young buck, young jeezy, pharrell, and, including the recently-'freed' pimp c, the complete u.g.k., is sure to make the album more interesting and sellable. a must-buy album for those who enjoy blowing their eardrums up. collabos: u.g.k., jamie foxx, b.g., young jeezy, young buck, young dro, pharrell, common, p$c, governor. songs to download: king back, front back, what you know, why you wanna, get, goodlife. 4月8日 cd.r: p!nkthis week's artist is: p!nk; album: i'm not dead comments: this may be pink's best album to-date, mainly because her true personalities are shown through every track in the album. her first single to be a video, 'stupid girls', helped start things out and set the record straight that she is serious about life and the matter of conscience (her next video is expected to be the single, 'u & ur hand'). she also goes politically conscientious with the song 'dear mr. president', where she proposes president bush to "take a walk" with her, and feeds him with real-life issues that actually exist and are happening within the US itself that need more attention than any war he wishes to instigate. the rest of the songs can't be more eloquent than they already are; accentuated by the soft-sounding acoustic guitar and piano, songs like 'runaway', 'conversations with my 13 year old self', and 'i have seen the rain' (which was written by her father during his war experience in vietnam), make the listeners want to close their eyes and swing their heads side-to-side as the songs softly play through the minutes. nevertheless, pink didn't forget about her wild, party-animal side, where she writes the songs 'fingers' and 'centerfold', which are accentuated by massive heavy beats and sound distortions. a no-doubtedly 11 out of 10. songs to download: nobody knows, dear mr. president, i'm not dead, cuz i can, runaway, conversations with my 13 year old self, centerfold. 3月30日 ii (N]-n.m-[M) blog's 1000th click !!today, on march 13th, 2006, this blog has reached 1000 clicks! 10月31日 cd.r: blink-182this week's artist is: blink-182; album: greatest hits comments: a must-buy album of the month. i guess by releasing this 'greatest hits' album means the end for blink-182. but, the band has definitely left a mark in punk-rock history with nothing by memorable memories, and more travis barker can be expected as the drummer for another great band, 'transplants'. the album features two new, never-before-heard singles. a valuable collectible for blink-182 fans. and also a great investment for anyone who wants to hear the 'bests' of the group. songs to download: everything; it's their greatest hits (duh!) |
